Short films can be a powerful tool for exploring and representing social groups or issues. They can be used to raise awareness, challenge stereotypes, or start important conversations about important topics. One way that short films can represent social groups is by portraying diverse characters and experiences. By featuring people from different backgrounds, cultures, and identities, short films can help to break down stereotypes and promote understanding and empathy. Our film did a brilliant way of doing such due to the diversity on the screen. Jordyn being black, Pedro and I being Brazilian , we have a variety of cultures and stereotypes being represented!
