Park!

When we were tasked with creating a short film, my group and I decided to shoot a scene for our film at a park. We loved the idea of capturing the natural beauty of the park and wanted to use the landscape to enhance our storytelling. We picked a park out in class. It's close to my house so it works out great! Before filming, we scouted the location and chose several key areas to shoot. We made sure to follow the park's rules and regulations. Safety was also a top priority, so we made sure to have a first-aid kit and a plan in case of any emergencies. When we arrived, we set up our equipment and made final adjustments. God was on our side. It was such a beautiful and quiet night. The lighting was perfect for our film. It really captured the intenseness. Filming in a public space like a park comes with some challenges. For example, we had to deal with changes in lighting due to weather conditions. However, we worked through these challenges and were able to capture some beautiful footage. All in all, filming at the park added such a warm, natural, outdoorsy feel to our project. If we keep up with the right planning, preparation, and creativity, I think we can create a beautiful film.
