Welcome back!

Welcome back! I'm so excited for this new year in A level! My name is Nicole Tarantino. I am 17, going on 18 on November 12th! I have a little brother and I'm in the Pre-Law and Cambridge programs at Fort Lauderdale High School. I intend to pursue a career in forensic psychology after I graduate. Working in the Criminal Justice field has been a dream of mine since I was in fifth grade. I want to be a woman in a career that mainly consists of men because I like standing out, being an example. Women are constantly seen as weak or fragile and I feel as if working in that environment I would be showing that women are much more than that. We can be emotional but we are very strong, very competent. Also, studying human behaviors and how the mind works has always been so intriguing. I love getting into peoples heads and seeing how they react to certain things. Why people do things has always been something I ask myself. Especially when it comes to criminals. My Cambridge diploma is something I've been working towards and something I completely overestimated. I have a problem with overreacting and overthinking things but when I sat back and thought to myself, I realized I'm overreacting completely. It's so much easier than  ninth grade me would've thought. I tell myself affirmations every day so why was it so hard to believe them? I've been working on it and so far, so good! I'm so blessed to have my group. We are going to do so much better than last year!
