Maybe next time!


Happy Monday! My team and I were supposed to film today but Pedro isn't feeling well. We might reschedule for Wednesday. It was  beyond unfortunate because we had been planning this for the longest. Jordyn also didn't have a ride. It's fine though- I wasn't feeling 100% myself. I'm so behind right now in school, so I'll take this day as an opportunity to catch up. My house could  also use some tidying up. We were suppose to film the indoor scenes today. I made sure to clean the house and get all the props out. We all look forward to filming because of how much fun we had filming last time. I don't know how exactly this is going to work because we all have things to do and places to be on Wednesday. I know it'll work out.  Hopefully we can film all the outdoor scenes and get that over with. I know we're going to have a lot of fun with it. My backyard is currently under some construction so it looks rough but that shouldn't interrupt our process. It should be over soon. I have high hopes for Wednesday though. I really enjoy my group. I'm glad we can all work together.

Story Board

   During this class period, my partner and I set up our storyboard for our Crocs commercial. We decided on how the commercial would be set up first and then how we would set up the storyboard that will coordinate with our commercial. In our first box, we have the actress holding a pair of crocs to show the jibbitz/gems off that decorate the crocs. In our second box, the actor is seen putting on their crocs while they are sitting on a bench located in the school. The third box shows the actor walking with the crocs on in both sports and comfortable mode. After the shoes are shown in both of the different wearable modes, the cameraman or woman will zoom into the crocs, showing the different angles of the shoes. Finally, our last box/part of our commercial will include the actors dancing as the crocs slogan comes on the scene concluding our commercial. Genre Research: Big Catch

  When looking for comedy short films on the websites given, we were unable to find any pertaining to comedy My team and I decided that it would be best to just look for one on Youtube rather than struggling to find one on the websites. Before going to Youtube we checked the regular internet where we mainly found films in our genre but they were full length. The first film we found on Youtube was "Big Catch." This interested us first because of the thumbnail. The thumbnail for this short was a picture of a man sitting with headphones and a shark behind him smiling. Seeing this, we automatically assumed that the shark would be trying to eat this man, but we did not know how it planned on going about it. In this film, there is no dialogue but there is diegetic sound where we can hear the birds making noise, the squeaking of the the shark on the deck, and the shark screaming as he realizes he is about to be thrown back into the ocean.
