Groupsie daisy!

     New year, new group! For this particular project, I decided I was still going to work with my right-hand woman, Jordyn. Jordyn was my partner last year! She's my best friend. Jordyn is really smart and driven- she's also very funny. We decided to work alongside our close friend, Pedro, this year. Pedro worked with us last year on our movie. He's a great addition to our group. Jordyn and I agreed that he could really help us out. We all learned some skills last year that i know will make our film amazing! We do have some issues though. We have really tight schedules. Jordyn and I work, and Pedro lives pretty far from Jordyn and I. We're trying to find a filming schedule that's compatible with everyone but finding a middle ground may be more complicated than I thought. I know we can work it out though. Three heads are always better than one! We all know how much of a heavy grade this project is, we've already got that set-in stone. We're going to start brainstorming ideas next class. This project is going to be great! I can't wait to start filming.

Story Board

   During this class period, my partner and I set up our storyboard for our Crocs commercial. We decided on how the commercial would be set up first and then how we would set up the storyboard that will coordinate with our commercial. In our first box, we have the actress holding a pair of crocs to show the jibbitz/gems off that decorate the crocs. In our second box, the actor is seen putting on their crocs while they are sitting on a bench located in the school. The third box shows the actor walking with the crocs on in both sports and comfortable mode. After the shoes are shown in both of the different wearable modes, the cameraman or woman will zoom into the crocs, showing the different angles of the shoes. Finally, our last box/part of our commercial will include the actors dancing as the crocs slogan comes on the scene concluding our commercial. Genre Research: Big Catch

  When looking for comedy short films on the websites given, we were unable to find any pertaining to comedy My team and I decided that it would be best to just look for one on Youtube rather than struggling to find one on the websites. Before going to Youtube we checked the regular internet where we mainly found films in our genre but they were full length. The first film we found on Youtube was "Big Catch." This interested us first because of the thumbnail. The thumbnail for this short was a picture of a man sitting with headphones and a shark behind him smiling. Seeing this, we automatically assumed that the shark would be trying to eat this man, but we did not know how it planned on going about it. In this film, there is no dialogue but there is diegetic sound where we can hear the birds making noise, the squeaking of the the shark on the deck, and the shark screaming as he realizes he is about to be thrown back into the ocean.
