Almost there!

 So today, we almost had a change of plans AGAIN! The only people present in class today were Me and Jordyn. We were talking about Thursday's itinerary, when we received the strangest message from Damaine. He was asking if we were still on for Thursday. Jordyn and I looked at each other really confused because, what does he mean "Are we still on?". We thought we were at least! Thankfully, it was just a little check in. We're just paranoid. Unfortunately, our musical artists have yet to reply. We are getting extremely impatient. By we, I mean me! I'm starting to think the rapper from our school, or some good royalty free music might be the best way to go! I'm honestly so excited for Thursday. I don't really go out after school, and this might be the most eventful part of my entire spring break. I'm so excited. In all seriousness, I have a lot of faith in this project. I'm hoping for the best and expecting nothing but greatness. We as a group have collectively decided that we were going to do as much as possible in as little time as possible. With everyone going out of town for the break, we don't have time to film over break or when we get back. We have Thursday and we have Saturday night. I think we can do it though. We're a really good and functional group.

Story Board

   During this class period, my partner and I set up our storyboard for our Crocs commercial. We decided on how the commercial would be set up first and then how we would set up the storyboard that will coordinate with our commercial. In our first box, we have the actress holding a pair of crocs to show the jibbitz/gems off that decorate the crocs. In our second box, the actor is seen putting on their crocs while they are sitting on a bench located in the school. The third box shows the actor walking with the crocs on in both sports and comfortable mode. After the shoes are shown in both of the different wearable modes, the cameraman or woman will zoom into the crocs, showing the different angles of the shoes. Finally, our last box/part of our commercial will include the actors dancing as the crocs slogan comes on the scene concluding our commercial. Genre Research: Big Catch

  When looking for comedy short films on the websites given, we were unable to find any pertaining to comedy My team and I decided that it would be best to just look for one on Youtube rather than struggling to find one on the websites. Before going to Youtube we checked the regular internet where we mainly found films in our genre but they were full length. The first film we found on Youtube was "Big Catch." This interested us first because of the thumbnail. The thumbnail for this short was a picture of a man sitting with headphones and a shark behind him smiling. Seeing this, we automatically assumed that the shark would be trying to eat this man, but we did not know how it planned on going about it. In this film, there is no dialogue but there is diegetic sound where we can hear the birds making noise, the squeaking of the the shark on the deck, and the shark screaming as he realizes he is about to be thrown back into the ocean.
