Jordyn's House!

 Yesterday we finished filming! My partner's mom picked us up from school. It was my first time getting picked up by a friend directly from school. We got frozen yogurt and filmed a scene at the place. I kept laughing so we had to retake a the shot a few times. Fun Fact, it was my first time getting fro-yo! It was so good. After that, we stopped by my partner's grandma's house and filmed our car scenes. We planned out the next scenes while we were there. After we left, we got chipotle. We ate when we got home. After we ate we filmed our outdoor scenes since the sun was setting and it looked beautiful. We got our indoor scenes in and had a blast while filming it. My mom picked me up after and I completely forgot to blog. The whole time I was at my Partner's we had so much fun. We got everything out of the way though. We're editing today though. We're done! This project was so fun. I can't wait for the next one!

Story Board

   During this class period, my partner and I set up our storyboard for our Crocs commercial. We decided on how the commercial would be set up first and then how we would set up the storyboard that will coordinate with our commercial. In our first box, we have the actress holding a pair of crocs to show the jibbitz/gems off that decorate the crocs. In our second box, the actor is seen putting on their crocs while they are sitting on a bench located in the school. The third box shows the actor walking with the crocs on in both sports and comfortable mode. After the shoes are shown in both of the different wearable modes, the cameraman or woman will zoom into the crocs, showing the different angles of the shoes. Finally, our last box/part of our commercial will include the actors dancing as the crocs slogan comes on the scene concluding our commercial. Genre Research: Big Catch

  When looking for comedy short films on the websites given, we were unable to find any pertaining to comedy My team and I decided that it would be best to just look for one on Youtube rather than struggling to find one on the websites. Before going to Youtube we checked the regular internet where we mainly found films in our genre but they were full length. The first film we found on Youtube was "Big Catch." This interested us first because of the thumbnail. The thumbnail for this short was a picture of a man sitting with headphones and a shark behind him smiling. Seeing this, we automatically assumed that the shark would be trying to eat this man, but we did not know how it planned on going about it. In this film, there is no dialogue but there is diegetic sound where we can hear the birds making noise, the squeaking of the the shark on the deck, and the shark screaming as he realizes he is about to be thrown back into the ocean.
