It's all coming together!

 Today my partner and I edited our project. I got the story board and made sure the scenes were in order. watching the commercial come to life is such an experience! The editing process is kind of annoying but its just a part of the plan. It's so draining and long. I just wish the video could edit itself! Although I say this, I have learned a lot along the way. Finding a song was easy though. I opted for something upbeat or something chill. My partner and I still have to clean the commercial up a little more and go over our song selection. We have a nice rough draft of what it should look like. So far it looks great though. I would've never thought that I'd be editing a commercial for Crocs but here I am! It's definitely an experience that's for sure! The people who sit around me make the process easier too. My group gives them a suggestion and they give us suggestions, its a win win! The commercial, one its done, will be perfect. My expectations will be fulfilled. I couldn't have done this without my wonderful partner either. I can't wait to have it submitted and done.

Story Board

   During this class period, my partner and I set up our storyboard for our Crocs commercial. We decided on how the commercial would be set up first and then how we would set up the storyboard that will coordinate with our commercial. In our first box, we have the actress holding a pair of crocs to show the jibbitz/gems off that decorate the crocs. In our second box, the actor is seen putting on their crocs while they are sitting on a bench located in the school. The third box shows the actor walking with the crocs on in both sports and comfortable mode. After the shoes are shown in both of the different wearable modes, the cameraman or woman will zoom into the crocs, showing the different angles of the shoes. Finally, our last box/part of our commercial will include the actors dancing as the crocs slogan comes on the scene concluding our commercial. Genre Research: Big Catch

  When looking for comedy short films on the websites given, we were unable to find any pertaining to comedy My team and I decided that it would be best to just look for one on Youtube rather than struggling to find one on the websites. Before going to Youtube we checked the regular internet where we mainly found films in our genre but they were full length. The first film we found on Youtube was "Big Catch." This interested us first because of the thumbnail. The thumbnail for this short was a picture of a man sitting with headphones and a shark behind him smiling. Seeing this, we automatically assumed that the shark would be trying to eat this man, but we did not know how it planned on going about it. In this film, there is no dialogue but there is diegetic sound where we can hear the birds making noise, the squeaking of the the shark on the deck, and the shark screaming as he realizes he is about to be thrown back into the ocean.
