Editing again

 Today I edited once more. I also did my PSAT today which went better than I had expected. Today my partner and I cleaned up the editing blog. We added music. I showed my partner how to add music. I felt so professional! A J. Cole song is what we needed and its what we went with. It set the tone and the vibe. It made the video seem relaxed and calm. Transitions within the video were smooth. We finished the commercial. It's just as I had imagined. All of the shots blended in together perfectly. To say I feel accomplished is the least. I learned so many new skills that I can't wat to apply to my future projects. Working alongside such amazing people in class really takes the cake. I'm so thankful to have such helpful people  on my side. I really hope my partner and I get a good grade on this commercial. We really wanted to capture the essence of a real Crocs commercial. I'm so happy we finished and that it came out perfect.

Story Board

   During this class period, my partner and I set up our storyboard for our Crocs commercial. We decided on how the commercial would be set up first and then how we would set up the storyboard that will coordinate with our commercial. In our first box, we have the actress holding a pair of crocs to show the jibbitz/gems off that decorate the crocs. In our second box, the actor is seen putting on their crocs while they are sitting on a bench located in the school. The third box shows the actor walking with the crocs on in both sports and comfortable mode. After the shoes are shown in both of the different wearable modes, the cameraman or woman will zoom into the crocs, showing the different angles of the shoes. Finally, our last box/part of our commercial will include the actors dancing as the crocs slogan comes on the scene concluding our commercial. Genre Research: Big Catch

  When looking for comedy short films on the websites given, we were unable to find any pertaining to comedy My team and I decided that it would be best to just look for one on Youtube rather than struggling to find one on the websites. Before going to Youtube we checked the regular internet where we mainly found films in our genre but they were full length. The first film we found on Youtube was "Big Catch." This interested us first because of the thumbnail. The thumbnail for this short was a picture of a man sitting with headphones and a shark behind him smiling. Seeing this, we automatically assumed that the shark would be trying to eat this man, but we did not know how it planned on going about it. In this film, there is no dialogue but there is diegetic sound where we can hear the birds making noise, the squeaking of the the shark on the deck, and the shark screaming as he realizes he is about to be thrown back into the ocean.
